Delegation To Enugu Government
The Minister of Livestock Development, Idi Mukhtar Maiha, on Monday, 1st December 2025, led a delegation, including the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Chinyere Ijeoma Akujobi, and directors, to pay a courtesy visit to the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah. The visit formed part of the Ministry’s ongoing nationwide engagement with subnational governments aimed at strengthening collaboration for the effective implementation of the National Livestock Growth Acceleration Strategy (NL-GAS).
Governor Mbah welcomed the team and pledged full cooperation in advancing good animal husbandry practices, strengthening disease control systems, and driving investments that boost productivity, enhance sustainability, and support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s vision of growing Nigeria’s economy to $1 trillion by 2030.
